Get notified by RSS when other coCommenters responds to your comments, or when something is added to a conversation you're following.

Using coComments' alert system, you can be notified whenever something's been added to a blog-based conversation you're participating in or following. Of course this only works if others commenters are using coComment as well. This is a good reason to convince your friends that using coComment will turn their comments into real interactive conversations ;-)   There are currently two ways to do this with coComment.

Choose your preferred channel:

  • coComment Feeds

Using your preferred RSS reader, just add a feed on the page "your conversations" to the reader...
All comments related to your conversations.
    Only your comments.

In addition, there exist feeds for individual blogs and articles.

  • "Your conversations" page on coComment

Not only does the "your conversations" page aggregate the various conversations you are following, but it will highlight in BOLD type and conversation which has recently been updated with a comment - making it easy for you to see what's worth checking.

More ways to keep track of your conversations!

Whether you're actively participating in a conversation, or just following one you're interested in, we know it's important to you when something's been added. But what if you're not online? What if you are online, but you don't want to spend the whole day refreshing your RSS feeds or checking the "your conversations" page? And what if you only want to be notified about specific conversations?

We're developing an intelligent system that will give you the option to receive alerts not only by RSS, but also by SMS, e-mail, and Instant Messaging. And, you'll be able to set preferences for these alerts to determine which conversations, blogs, or people you will follow with these alerts.

Any ideas how we can make this service even cooler?
