wow, never heard of these guys. Great idea though. Hopefully more carriers will follow suit with this kind of thing... I LOVE T-mobile's prepaid for voice, but they don't have anything like that for data.

I think that I MOSTLY agree...

...except for the fact that, while there may be many (if not a majority) of people that are rampantly spending without regard for the cost (as you've proposed)... There are also a lot of people who were pushed towards mortgages that they couldn't afford, and were (purposefully?) deceived into thinking that it would be OK...

Do you really propose that we let them (typically lower income folks) lose their houses and get even worse off?

I COMPLETELY agree that we don't need to be bailing out massive corporations that have made clear choices that have put themselves in this situation... however, I'd personally like to see some of that $700 billion bailout case passed along to folks who are losing their houses...

As a taxpayer, that's the kind of thing that I'd gladly help pay for.

I think that, at least partially, the answer to inter-generational worship is going to come from breaking out of the box that we've put ourselves in (ie: music) and finding other ways to worship together on a Sunday evening (or whenever).

Rather than simply trying to tailor our music to be more accessible to the kids (which by the way is a GREAT idea and I totally want to do that) I think we need to brainstorm what worship COULD be and even ask our kids what they like to do and figure out how that could be part of our worship...

Style-wise at least, they <b>NEED</b> to play it safe if they actually want "normal" people to buy it.

I agree that the concept looked REALLY cool, but this is way more palatable for the masses... Which is really what's most important in this case, right?
