I would love a way to complete a claim for my comments on Technorati.

This is something I can do with other services such as Clipmarks.

Yes, this would be a welcome development. As a blogger we can have multiple conversations going on at any time. Hope you can make this a reality, Christophe. I'll be pretty excited when one can claim their comments as their own on technorati.

Think about the links that would be created between bloggers solely through comments. One's cocomments are a blog unto themselves. This would allow the reader, user, searcher to not only see blog posts but all respective comments pertaining to that post.

I would contact technorati. Ask them if they would like to intergrate a comments search along with the video, book and blog search in existence now. Wow. This could be cool.

Yes, as more and more contents are now in comments, being able to actually own that content and make it visible is definitly something that many people would like.
This would also bring more visibility to bloggers/commenters.
But, as previously said, stay tunned ;-)

I just went through the process taking screenshots for a writeup

It seems to be working very well, although it is maybe 10 days behind on blog comments that are synced.

I also had a problem with copy / paste of the URL - maybe some code preventing it.

Writing a long detailed post now

I claimed my blog in Technorati a long time ago. Does anyone know where I can get the code I'm supposed to paste in the box?

ETA: Never mind, once I actually READ THE DIRECTIONS I figured it out.
