I recently interviewed a lady about her road to divorce. She was in an abusive relationship but wanted to do the right thing according to scripture. She searched the scriptures and spoke to many Biblical scholars to try to get a handle on what the Bible 'really' says about divorce.

I try to respond to every comment.

I also use the 'Comment Email Responder' plugin for WordPress so that those who have commented get an email with my reply. That means that if someone has only dropped into my blog in passing, and wouldn't normally return, I have the opportunity for another point of contact.

Interesting that all good actions have to be reduced to something that benefits the person doing them. As you say, we often need to do the right thing because it's the right thing to do, not because it 'feels good'.

Unfortunately it seems to be the way things go. I don't understand it either.

The one that always puzzles me is when young ladies who have always dressed modestly come to their wedding day. Suddenly they think that they should wear a wedding dress that shows the world as much cleavage as they can. I've seen it many times at Christian weddings and always found it strange.
