        <content>Seconding what Anders said, you can get the Views dropdown back by customising the toolbar. You can even move it around now - it's not fixed in position as before.</content>

        <content>Oh well, at least you're running it in Parallels so you only have to use selected bits of the OS, not the whole shebang. I'll probably be buying Vista when I have the cash, simply because I still need to use Windows from time to time, but OS X serves me well.

By the way, Vista technically does not have DOS, in the same way that Windows 2000 and XP didn't. They do have a command line, but that fills the same role as Terminal in OS X; it looks like DOS but isn't.</content>

        <content>That's a cool method - I'd previously tried using the native drivers on Windows for my Mac-connected printer and having it not work.

The method I used was actually different - install Rendez-Vous for Windows on the Windows machine and then use its printer wizard, selecting a PostScript driver. It works, but you don't get all the snazzy features of this method.

But then again, the PostScript driver supports printing 2 pages on one sheet (reducing the pages 50%) and the normal Windows driver does not, so it's much of muchness really.</content>
