How big of a difference do you see when watching football (720p vs. 1080i), Robert? Please realize that ESPN HD is in 720p, unlike what you've stated before. Just like the majority of content on Xbox Live, unlike what you've stated before. I just find it hard to believe that in a fast-moving sport like football, you actually think an interlaced picture (1080i) looks better than progressive (720p).

It's amazing that the most experts and sports networks like ESPN, recognize that progressive is better for fast-moving action, but you somehow believe that 1080i looks better. Brilliant.

I believe the thing with the 40GB hard drive on the Apple TV is that it will store and sync the last 10 videos and store them on the hard drive and stream everything else, plus use some of the space for cache purposes. I don't think it was ever supposed to be used a storage medium for all of your content.

I was planning on purchasing the apple tv, but luckily I thought about it and right now I have a Mac mini hooked up to my LCD plus a PS3 and Xbox 360 with the HD DVD addon, so I have access to a lot of HD content. Unless Apple starts releasing HD content by the boatload and cheaply...there's no real reason for me to buy one.

Good to see a good review of the Invisible Shield. Mine came in last week and I haven't put it on yet. It looks like it give it a nice glossy look, too.
