Happy new year!

I'll agreee wholeheartedly with the king-prince-pauper approach. For a couple of years I was living in western NJ and commuting into the Wall St area of NYC. During that time, I did follow this diet as I really did not have much choice according to the demands of the schedule and I did very well. Since then, I have modified it a little but am still doing very well. Of course, exercise should be a significant component of any diet to create a healthy lifestyle.

No, as a runner for 30 plus years, I think that is quite normal. We tend to find our way and make our mark. It becomes a little bit of a challenge to do in a different place but, hey that is part of the fun to run!

To pick up on Michael's comment, words can connect people and when they do, the meaning is what is remembered. The other speakers may have said something similar to what your friend did, but her delivery, her context with you framed the words with something special. Not easy to do. Not easy to replicate in a world full of nonsensical words and much hyperbole all competing for our attention.

And therein lies our challenge, catching their attention to create a meaningful connection.
