LOTD - is not a phrase that I have used ever and neither will. I have been using Linux for years now and can say that one can today use Linux as desktop OS. Believe me, at least with Linux you know that your data on PC is secure and much much safer than with Windows. And I am not a Linux "freak" - I am quite a regular user as perhaps you are and find myself very comfortable with Linux.
