This was a great reminder for me not only to record what I'm doing but to analyze in whatever fashion, the results of what I'm doing so that I can do more of 'this" and less of "that". The recording and analysis takes almost as much time as the actually execution of the activities but I guess it's go to be done because in the long run it will make our future efforts more efficient and more effective in helping us reach our goals.

I've been going in earnest for about 3 months now with this blogging/writing for money and I've yet to really look at what I'm doing and measure what each activity is netting me in any terms.

Thanks for introducing me to this plug in! This is perfect for when I just want to do link exchange and the links are not a resource for the niche my site represents.

I had no idea that increased outgoing links decreases SEO. I generally categorize by blogroll into section and from time to time when the length of the blogroll is too much I simple move all or parts of it onto a separate WP page.

Just like Nirmal, I've been doing this manually, but I was not doing this for SEO reasons! (In fact like Jennifer Laycock, and others, I'm really interested in growing independent of SEO considerations.

I needed the space for profit centers and for increased focus on my landing page content/niche. Nice to know that it may be helping me in other ways--for the moment. Those SE are so fickle at times!

Thank you. Great post.
I just put on my thinking cap...

"disclosure", "disclaimer", ""objective"...
sometimes the items tossed in the cage are such a waste of our time to toy with...

You disclaim/disclose what you can think of or not...

doesn't matter...

you are having a conversation with your self online if others want to eavesdrop or chime in... it's up to them

you are neither forcing them to read your work nor are you forcing them to give up their responsibility of thinking for themselves...

personally, in my site on Internet, or elsewhere for that matter, I am not looking to fill anyone's "tabla rasa"

thinking, independent readers are welcomed...the rest can just go watch tv, go to game or have a beer whatever

All the best,
Nia. :)

Humm...I guess you could say these days I "listen" to the tick tock of a kitchen timer.

Mind you, when I am writing I am listening to my inner voice and typing out the words. In the background I hear the kitchen timer and birds chirpping outside.

I'm new to the site. You are trying to "avoid writing" and you have a text blog? I don't get it...yet. Maybe with time and effort I'll understand :)

All the best,
Nia.
