If you can browse the web while abroad using GPRS then you should be able to connect using the same settings. If you are abroad and having problems, I suggest you first contact your service provider, in this case Orange, and ensure that you can use your GPRS while overseas. Second I would check the data charges for using GPRS while out of the UK, I am guessing it would be astronomical.
