Why not allowing website owners to set certain things the way they would like to see them appear.

Like changing the closing X by a play/pause button. This way you can chose if you want the window to remain on-top of your screen or not. Assuming that that is less likely, I'ld make the default auto-disappearing.

Other things you might like to set :
* when to show the information
** after a certain amount of time hovering above the link
** by clicking on the little logo before the link
* the display windows
** balloons
** coloured backgrounds
** a turning the pages effect instead of having to scroll
* the sources it can use to find a tag match

The idea is good, but the way it's implemented needs some work. No disrespect, to all your hard work, intended of course.
