Those are some awesome photos. I don't see any notes on where they were taken and was curious to know.

On a small other note, I noticed you are an expat and thought I'd mention jaxtr.com, which can help you save money on international calls.

Take care.

I think developing software that integrates with the mobile phone is key to long term success given how trends are going. I think another key point is that there's a lot more competition for Skype than when they first became really popular. Jaxtr, Rebtel, all the different calling cards, and many others make this a highly competitive space for Skype.

Lost of good tips above. My main thing is the content. Writing interesting and engaging content can't be stressed enough. For the most part, people interact around written words on the Web, and if you don't have anything interesting to say beyond your company, then your message will fall on deaf ears. Find several topics around your business and engage in those discussions. That to me is the core of social media.

That's a really cool blog post. I recently had a similar experience looking at a phone booth--actually we have one that looks almost exactly like the one in your picture in our office. Just a small note in case you're interested--jaxtr (www.jaxtr.com) gives you an easy way to call mobile or landlines without high international calling fees. Anyway, blog posts like this get my imagination going. I wonder what phones will be like in thirty years from now.

I really like your point about how some companies are using tools like identi.ca to enhance productivity. I think companies have almost as much to gain in their interactions with customers on the Web as they do in being able to communicate more effectively internally through a number of these micro-blogging, wiki, and instant messenging tools.
