You might be right about how Edgar Bergen went from Ja to Duh as it shows in this video of him and Mortimer Snerd.

But I think that's only part of it since it didn't start out with any of the sarcastic part that seemed to be added later. "Yes, obviously" leaves out the "don't be an idiot" part of Duh! that people include in it now.

As far as I can remember that part was added in the 1950's on the Leave it to Beaver Show when Tony Dow used it with the sarcasm to Jerry Mathers.

I gues it depends on how comprehensive you want your knowledge to be.

I don't know anyone that has used the Rosetta Stone program only on their commercials that it's a good way to learn to speak and read it. A better way is to learn from someone you love since it gives you more motivation.

I personally just use Babel Fish as a quick and dirty translator to get by and I'm not even sure how good it is. I doubt Marina is impressed by it much but at least it was an effort to follow the video since it was in the appropriate language.

My only experience with the M16 was in Air Force Basic Training and it jammed on me every other shot. It might be because it was FUBAR from being used by so many other trainees so I couldn't tell you if it was the best when in better condition.

The AK-47 does seem to be more common in most places around the world but that might be because it's easier to get. Maybe the M16 is more expensive and more valuable.

It's certainly a worthy goal since I couldn't believe Marina was stuck in the middle when she clearly deserved it more than the ones they had at #2 or #3.

I couldn't find a specific place to vote on G4 but they did have a place to interact and also a forums so if enough people posted on those to make their opinions known about Marina's place in the Women of the Web then hopefully the producers would take notice.

The trouble is you have to wade through hours of other stuff to see the parts with Marina, although some of it is worth it.

The party did get better as it went on with Marina, Lisa and Corey having a best butt contest.

Then someone spilled beer on the keyboard.

It was very nice when Marina told me she trusted me, that really meant a lot.

Seppuku is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. Seppuku was originally reserved only for samurai. Part of the samurai honor code, seppuku has been used both voluntarily by samurai to die with honor rather than fall into the hands of their enemies, as a form of capital punishment for samurai who have committed serious offenses, and for reasons that shamed them.

I'm not sure what the first word was if wasn't saki but the first I ever heard when I was a kid was Godzilla since I loved those movies when the were released here.
