        <content>Hang in there, sweet pea. My folks went from being REALLY unhappy/ uncomfortable to pretty close to fully accepting, so it does happen... and even when it doesn't, it is possible to survive and thrive.</content>

        <content>Here's where it's helpful to have a fellow blogger in the building whose instincts you trust... some posts deserve to be put in a "holding pattern" while you work to discern whether they truly need to be out there in permanent print.

Seems like much would also depend upon how folks in leadership roles in your community think about dissent and/ or constructive criticism.

In my experience, that little voice in the back of your head that makes your finger hover over the "submit" key is a friendly voice.

Maybe a modified version that takes the form of Quaker-esque queries... no criticism, just an honest seeking of answers and fresh perspective?</content>
