First, thanks for the link to my class blog. Honestly, the most important thing I could give you as advice is take things slowly. Even something as simple as commenting on a blog post can take a long time for kids. They don't usually compose well at the keyboard. Also, make sure you give your students time to comment on other students posts. My plan this year is to give my students more time to respond to others posts. I love the idea of the conversation between students (especially when it is captured on the blog!)

I think your "You Decide" posts are great! I would love to integrate something like this in my blog, perhaps my counselor could come up with some of the questions. Thanks for linking to my class blog. Keep up the great work.

At times like this, I try to remember that teaching is not about myself, but about my students. Funny though, I need to keep that in mind when my passion isn't fatigued too!

I see the two widgets you added and now I am thinking about changing to wordpress. I think my class would be much more likely to post comments on the posts that I don't require them to comment on. (Maybe if I quit reading other people's blogs I won't know what I am missing. Ignorance could be bliss?)
