        <content>Thanks for this thoughtful post on coaching - especially the quote about the coach's job being to improve student learning. In working with librarians, I also find that people see us as support, rather than an integral part of the instructional process. It's been a perception that I have been trying to change for the past seven years in my district. While it's slow going, I have begun to see a change, which is exciting! 

I also love the Final Word protocol that you mentioned and hope to try it with a book study that I am leading this fall. Thanks for that as well!</content>
