Ellwood shelling The United States mainland was first shelled by the Axis on February 23, 1942 when the Japanese submarine I-17 attacked the Ellwood Oil Field west of Goleta, near Santa Barbara, California. Although only a pumphouse and catwalk at one oil well were damaged, I-17 captain Nishino Kozo radioed Tokyo that he had left Santa Barbara in flames. No casualties were reported and the total cost of the damage was officially estimated at approximately $500–1,000.[1] However, news of the shelling triggered an invasion scare along the West Coast.[2]

Don't these morons ever see local weather forecasts where all time daily high temperatures occured eighty or more years ago? Are they so isolated in their air-conditioned homes, offices, and cars that they don't even know what is the actual outside temperature. My skin has more knowledge than these so called scientists, and my skin (along with the National Weather Service) told me that this spring and summer were much cooler and more cloudy than normal. These so called scientists really validate scripture in that they do not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved, and for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. They do so love this world and in doing so they prove themselves to be enemies of God. They refuse to believe that God created the world, once destroyed this world save eight, will again destroy this world, and will judge this world.
