This is why I hate the beatles:1) No musical complexity whatsoever.
2) Horrbily out of tune instruments.
3) Not such good singing voices.
4) I cant stress how much they couldn't really play their instruments with a certain amount of adequacy to be considered real talented musicians.Sure they wrote great lyrics...but that isnt music. It's a poem. Write poetry. Thats good. And IF you want to put it to music....be somewhat talented on your instrument. Know complex jazz chords, play with articulation and speed. There you go.

Brett, learning musical complexity and playing fluently is not even half the battle to making good music. ANYONE can study! Anyone can practice! The ARRANGEMENT of the elements is vastly more important and The Beatles (with George Martin) were fantastic in that area. And anyway - the Beatles used more augmented and diminished chords than any of their immediate peers. How complex are you looking for?

So being more complicated with all of the EIGHT whole notes at our disposal plus whizzing them by the listener at lightning speed equals better music?
This is what most young boys think when they begin learning guitar but they usually grow out of it by about the time they start shaving.

Wow Brett you are an idiot. No Musical Complexity? Have you heard a Beatles song other than anything off number ones? Listen to the white album...out of tune instruments...don't make up fucking stupid shit like that. Not Such good singing voices...lets hear you do the vocal harmonies on Becausre. Couldn't play their instruments...have you heard George Harrison play, or Paul McCartney? John wasn't the most amazing musician, and Ringo did not rip out 40 minute drum solos but they could play. I certainly hope your not a musician if you believe anything you wrote. The beatles used plenty of complex chords...and play with articulation and speed? So your a wankfest shredder are you...that explains a lot. No wonder you don't know what an in tune guitar sounds like.

And Dave...the stuff aged terribly? That definitley supports their Number 1's album being the fastest selling album of all time, as well as Love staying in the top 10 on the charts for weeks released in 2001 and 2007 respectively.
